Match 5 Vs Al Fanar Engineering

Nice climate compared to last week ,

Al Fanar DAR Engineering batted first , they put a defensive total of 162 , they played steadily with a RR of approx. 10 /over upto 10th over , As usual Azeem was given the first over , nice start from him & Tallah  , then Adeel with few more wides but lesser than his last match , Talhah , Khalid & Rehan did bowl well , Akbar filled Ammar Keeping position in his absence , Akbar took 3 Catches one diving to the edged ball , One run-out of Kamran a direct hit a nice one from Akbar , Khalid who bowled a decent spell with - 0 - Wides & 3 Key Wickets , Though his first over was plundered , but he made a good come back with a in-swinging ball which deceived the bat's man and hit the target ( Stumps ) , Rehan who started to bowl in the middle contained the scoring rate ,Talhah who bowled the last over did the closing very well with a Wicket ( Bold ) replaced the lefty batsman who was charging in the end ,  With all contribution the Target which was expected more at the beginning was contained to 162 , 163 to Win , A terrific effort from Shakthi diving for a Catch in vain but blood wounded in return , Nice effort , 

ET E Cricket team batting was opened by Prabhu and Sharjil , Sharjil (4) went for a slow ball from Habib , Prabhu (7) went for a yorker in the block hole , which came after nearly a dozen wides , a good ball and bad play deserved that , Then Tallah accelerated the score by did'nt last long went for 16 , Then the debut batsman Anees (4) went early to pavilion , Sakthi (14) played a sensible inning with Singles& Doubles then retired hurt , Rehan (51) the top scorer of the Match and the reason behind the winning of ET E team , Rehan was blasting most of the balls to boundary with his strong arms in backfoot , He was dropped a catch in 50's , but went for a catch in Kadhir's ball , Akbar (3) played as required singles and giving strikes to the set bat's man , Khalid (9 off 4 balls ) finished the mach in his passion with consecutive boundaries in 14th Over , Mr. Iqbal , Adeel  & Azeem were the remaining wickets in Hand

Finally a compromising win after two consecutive losses ,

Match 4 VS Al Fanar DAR Engineering

07/June/2012 , It was a sunny day , we felt the heat even in the early morning 5:30 AM , As requested all the ETE Design Cricket team members gathered at the ground on time , on the contrary the DAR members were little late , The Match started with a little delay due to pitch confusions , ( Some has reserved the pitch with the stumps but unattended )

We ETE batted First , the bowlers from DAR did start well especially Iqbal bowled well by dismissing Akabar for 4 , Sharjil 19 , Khalid who hit the first Sixer started to fire but got himself dismissed at 10 , Sakthi who hit the first boundary , played a long innings for 22 , which was the highest Score today , Rehan went early for 2 , Kaiser who played steadily for 14 runout las ball , Ammar tried to accelerate the score but could not connect it well gone for 3 , Prabhu added quick 11 runs with a Six & four in 15^th Over Finally with all the efforts team score reached 120 ,

The Target set was 121 / 16 Over , As usual Azeem started the bowling attack by Azeem & Shaid , DAR wickets started to fall with consistently Two wonderful Catches by Khalid , the second catch he took diving to the ball , a great mindblowing catch , Ammar caught two catches behind the stumps , a great job needed in that time , theese things brought the game tight  , decent spell from Khalid & Kaiser , Khalid took the stumps with a inswinging ball that deceived the well set Batsman , Akbar made a run out , Rehan Took a wicket in his first ball , On the other hand runs were made steadily irrespective of the wickets fallen , Finally DAR Engineering reached the Target for a loss of 9 Wicket ,

Overall a nice match , every one enjoyed ,

Match-3 Vs Alstom

Match – 3 Vs Alstom

The Team was forced to pack without Ammar & Mr. Khalid since they were not availble on the Match due to personal reasons , The team was lead by our debut Captain Sharjil ,

M/S Alstom won the Toss and opted to bowl  ( probably dude to hot weather conditions ) , Akbar & Mr. Iqbal opened the match with full confidence , but the partnership was broken very early with the fall of Mr. Iqbal , then Sakthi by run out for a second run called by Mr. Kaiser , then with Mr. Kaiser , Dullah  contributed a major share in the Total 146 , where Prabhu & Sharjil added a few & Rehan boosted the score in the end  with all efforts team put a score of 147 to Win ,

The Alstom were charging from the initial over’s , In spite of their Main Wickets has fallen they continues to find boundaries in almost every over  , Azeem opened the attacked , a good come back from him with regard to his previous matches , though other bowlers Shaid , Dullah & others contributed a lot of efforts to contain the Alstom batsman but ended in vain , Finally Alstom took their runs comfortably , which led them a easy win 147 in 12^th over ,

The sportsmanship was well maintained between the teams till the play ,
With all the lessons learnt we SIEMENS ETHS E Design Team shall play with Al Fanar Dar Engineering next week 07/June/2012 ,
