Al Fanar Buildings Won the Toss & Opted to bat first ,

Their openers gave them a steady start till Sharjil took the first wicket of the match 36/1 of 4.4 Over’s , Sharjil & Rehan bowled the first four overs keeping the batsman calm from boundaries , Rehan took the first catch on shajil bowling , which he came running circumferential to the boundary line managed to hold it nicely , a wonderful effort , Akbar bowled three over’s & bagged 2 wickets but his over was plundered by Rana tayyab in the last spell , Talhah joined us nearly after 6 months , his performance in bowling has stunned the batsman with frequent Yorkers claiming 2 Wickets on his name , Ammar bowled decently but could not contain the runns wrapped the Main wicket of Tayyab Ranna with his speed & accuracy , Rana misses it completely and the ball hits the stumps , fall of Ranna takes the scoring pace off Al Fanar Buildings Team , Prabhu was given a over which he did with few wides , a catch was tried in his over by Faisal but not taken , Balaji did a wonderful job back at stumps a good come back from the previous match , Finally the 159 was the Target posted 160 to win ,

 

Siemens Opened their batting with Khalid & Sakthi , Khalid what a comeback from the previous match , he Concreted his seventh fifty ‘ Great knock Unbeaten 71 not out ‘ , Sakthi who got the chance after a quite long time supported Khalid well in building the partnership , at one stage it was seen that they both will seal the match , but Sakthi (26) who batted well with few boundries was caught behind and put an end to the partnership 85/1 at 7.6 Overs , Anees the last match superstar failed to shine lost his wicket in the same fashion , clean bold by Abeer , a quicker delivery and a straight one to stumps , Faisal replaced Anees , what a power full knock on Ranna’s bowling he hit total of three big sixes which did not last long he was caught near the boundary line , Talah (6) not out  a perfect opener became a perfect finisher , Tallah & Khalid sealed the win in 14^th over leaving 2 over behind with wickets  Sharjil , Akbar , Rehan , Prabhu , Ammar , wajid & Balaji still to bat , Khalid 71 not out a solid contribution from him

 

Once again a nice cricket , Akbar joined us after his vacation , Faisal ( civil ) a good batsman explored ,  Nice captainship  , hope the winning streak continues . . . . .

Sharjil (C) Won the toss & opted to bat ,

 

SIEMENS Opened their inning with Khaid & Sharjil , Sharjil 1(2)  lost his wicket to Abeer bowling in his second ball faced , Rehan 3 (5) who stepped down was playing sensibly but did not get time to put his foundation successfully . His attempt for making a second runn which was called by by Balaji ( Runner for Khalid ) was short of half pitch sent him back ,

Khlaid realizing the situation was playing cool with few boundaries in each over , but was caught behind when he attempted to accelerate , Irrespective of his ankle Injury he played sensibly scoring 22 off 18 balls ,

 

Ammar ( 52 off 39 Balls )  with great ability who replaced Khalid played up to the Mark reached his second fifty , FYI Ammar who has not shown any performance in batting for the last few matches , played very wisely till the last ball and boosted the score till 170 , Rehan (Projects ) 17 Off 9 balls caught just before the boundary line was up to the mark , Faisal was the last hope to hit the balls away the boundary line did not get his rhythm well but added 29 off 16 balls , Annes was sent in the tail end who once again revealed his superb batting skill and drowned every one in to astonishment with his strong & Long Sixes , He added 30 off just 16 balls faced , He was bowled when he was charging down the Yorker from Abeer , Balaji faced the last over added 3 run’s from his part supported Ammar till the last ball , Sakthi , Prabhu & Iqbal Sir still to bat …….

 

With the efforts of Ammar , &  Anees the team has reached a unexpected total of 170  , which was not expected in the after the loss of Wickets of Khalid , Sharjil , Rehan ,

 

 Annes added approx. 30 Run’s in bonus else the team would have done less 20 than the performed ,

 

 

 

DAR Engineering opened their inning with Imran & Raj Kumar , Raj well known for his sixes against SIEMENS ,

 

Imran ( Bold by Sharjeel ) gone for none Raj could add more 10 run’s went for a slower delivery from Sharjeel , missed it completely , allowing the ball to hit the stumps ,

 

Saleem 21 off 14 ball bold by Faisal , Kamran stood steady as rock till end making 18 run’s , Amir Malik 38 off 28 seems to be finishing the match by himself but pulled back by Rehan H , Abber was caught by Rehan Raza Khan & Bowled by Rehan H , Iqbal  Bold by Faisal in the similar manner of Saleem , a quicker delivery from Faisal , Waseem was caught by Rehan R and bowled by Rehan H ,

 

 

  &   In a manner Rehan R was caught by Sakthi from falling across the boundary line , a good team work between the two in preserving the wicket ,

 

 

Habeeb Stumped by Balaji in Sharjil over , The one of the balls which Balaji maintained to hold , So end of the 16 Over DAR Engineering were short of 30 Run’s paving way for SIEMENS Victory ,

·         Extras 34 for 16 Over’s , to be Controlled , Specially run’s behind the Stumps were not impressive , 34 Run’s Extra Seems to be a quiet big figure , as only one from our Team has crossed the mark this time

Sharjil (C) , Khalid Maruf , Shahid , Faruqi Ammar , Iqbal Sir , Rehan , Azeem , Anees , Faisal Mustafa , Sakthi , Asim Qayeem , Prabhu , Balaji Thangarajan ,

 

On behalf of SIEMENS Team Faruqi Won the toss & opted to bat ,

 

SIEMENS Opened their inning with Iqbal Sir & Shahid , Nice powerful drive from Mr. Iqbal scored him few run’s , He supported competitively with Shahid in running between the wickets , Their partnership came to end in the second over , then the wickets started to fall continually , Shahid , Faruqi Ammar , Sharjil , Anees , Khalid , Prabhu , Asim Qayeem scored least run’s but lost their wicket much early , Rehan & Mustafa Faisal spent more time in the crease dragging the score up to 98 in 13 Over’s , still remaining 5 More over’s , but the team were all out ,

 

Alstom they played Steadily , their shots selection especially in the off-side by the openers were perfect , which poured runs’ in their pocket , A breakthrough came from Ammar bowling one bold & one catch in the third man position by Azeem , Asim Qayeem took a wicket also , despite of his first-class efforts the results weren’t coming out , Classic batting from the Alstom , Poor fielding setup & poor fielding from players did not apply any pressure on the Alstom team they were getting run’s from all the bowlers , Little less than the expectation they won the match without difficulty by losing few wickets and reaching their Target with no trouble , A splendid effort behind the stumps by Balaji saved few runs’ , Five catches has been dropped , out of which 3 from Ammar’s Consecutive three balls ,

 

 

 

 

Lessons learned ,

Right man in the right place - batting order & fielding position too ,

Bowling attack & Fielding set-up shall be dynamic inline with the batsman strength & weakness

Finally we needed Team sprit till the End...................
