The SIEMENS Captain Shakthi won the toss & opted to field , in a view of fact that SIEMENS are good in chasing , The bowling attack was started with Sharjil , Good spell from him with 2 Wickets ,  first three over’s was excellent  & his celebration is destroyed in his last over by Abeer , Shaid , Ammar & Akbar each got one Wickets , Khalid did a decent bowling as well ,

 

DAR scoring rate was contained very well but in the end of the innings it was thrown away by Abeer (45 off 16 )  , who proved to be very usefull this match to DAR , Amir Malik (32) was the next highest score of DAR Innings ,

 

SIEMENS had a small change in their batting line-up , Prabhu & Khalid Maruf opened the Inning with full confidence , Prabhu lost his wicket for Run-Out in the first ball of the innings leading him to get a consecutive Golden Duck , Ammar Followed him with a Duck even for a Run-Out by Abeer , A direct hit from the pavilion , Khalid who got his consecutive Fourth Fifty scored 60 Runns off 45 Balls , Sharjil (33 off 26 Balls ) , Rehan, Shaid , Akbar , Anees who all tried to accelerate the score in Vain lost their wickets , Shakthi (5) who was in the crease holding his wicket till the last ball ,

Finally DAR Engineering had their moment , Won Siemens by a difference of 15 Runs ,

A good Come Back ( Sakthi (C) )

Oct/11/2012 Match with Alfanar DAR Engineering

 

However a Nice entertaining match it was , Thanks for all the Players DAR & SIEMENS ,

 

It's a Captains Come back from Previous Match critics ,

 

DAR Engineering Won the Toss & Elected to Bat first ,

They scored 159/9 a low total when compared to their teams batting Line-Up , Tayyab Ranna has once again pulled his Team up from being closing with low total , his efforts with 50 off 29 has brought DAR Engineering Ending with a Decent Total ,

A couple of Catches good catches were Taken by Azeem , Tallah & Khalid , A few critical wicket catches were dropped by the Siemens Player ( Two of them )  whom we considered as a Safe Hand never dropped Catches , but this day dropped a two injuring his finger , Overall Fielding in the Boundaries were excellent ,

 

Adeel who opened the Match closed his over at his best with only 5 Wides & 17 Runs as total , Azeem bagged 4 Wickets , Khalid Bowling was pretty Decent with only one extra & a catch on his over was dropped , Nice Bowling by Shaid claiming 2 Wickets , Akbar has come back as a bowler in the last three matches Nice bowling with 2 Wickets ,

 

 

         

 

 SIEMENS had a small change in the Opening , Khalid (as regular) & Rehan opened the Siemens inning, Slow & Steady , Wow really a good cricket from the openers , the Opening Partnership for the first time crossed 150 for no Loss of wicket , The Captain Sakthi in the Pavilion was urging the Players to accelerate , but the acceleration was done after the 10^th over when it was needed , which put Sakthi ( C ) in Peace , Khalid once again proved that he is consistent his third fifty has come up easily , Rehan was steady this time wanted to close the inning by himself didn’t play loose shots , played carefully got his 50 Mark hope the First one for him ,

The entire team was expecting to reach the target with no loss , but to the contrary Khalid got Run out ( 75 off 45 ) with 7’Sixes & 2’Fours , An upset but all happens , better luck next time for a Century , Tallah was sent to seal the win did perfectly with a 4 & 6 ,

Finally a Good Come Back by SIEMENS,

Things to appreciate - Bowling of Amir Afzal was excellent, a nice good length bowling,

 

 

 

 Nice Captaincy, implemented the lessons learnt from the previous matches, Used only four Main Bowlers, didn’t try any thing different,

Siemens Won the Toss & Opted to bat ,

Khalid ( 71 off 40 ) & Sharjil ( 22 off 20 ) opened the Match , they both played sensibly steadily , then Tallah (14) , Rehan ( 15 ) , Akbar (30) , & Anees (2) ,

Total of 177 Runs off 16 Over’s ,

It was Khalid's Second Fifty in Eid Gha Ground , Khalid & Akbar boosted the Team Score ,

 

DAR Opened with Iqbal & Saleem ( 50 off 32  ) , The opening partnership was broken when Iqbal went on 10 for Tallah ,

Nothing was going well from Siemens side , Too Many wide misfields , then the captain opted the slow bowler Sharjil , who's Magical over with four main wickets , Malik , Rana , Kamran & Abeer , Nice catches by Rehan ( Terrific Effort ) , Sakthi & Khalid , The Catch dropped by Sakthi (C) was a Turning Point which let the  DAR Engineering a Comfortable win in 16th Over ,

 

 

 

The Captain has learned lot of Lessons , that life is a Cycle of Ups & Downs , He has to Manage it well in the next Seasons ,
