SIEMENS won the Toss & opted to bat first ,
Since DAR team were short of two players , they requested two Players for fielding Wajjid & Prasad ,
SIEMENS Opened their innings with Iqbal Sir & Akbar , Iqbal sir opted to pull the bouncer in the first ball of the Innings , but edged & caught behind , Akbar seemed to be in good touch , 4’s & 6’s were pouring out of his batting talent , but did not last long when a double minded shot took a thick bottom edge which was caught by Wajid just before the boundary line , Sakthi replaced Iqbal sir scored few useful run’s with Khalid who replaced Akbar , Sakthi wanted to accelerate and lost his wicket and paved way for Adeel to partner with Khalid , Adeel new at crease after a very long time did few run’s , The dot balls from Adeel put Khalid in pressure to score some big run’s but ended by giving a high catch in the boundary line , Anees replaced Khalid hit few high Sixes and he was caught was caught behind when attempting a drive on a wide ball away from his body , Sharjil who was rotating the strike nicely and putting Anees in strike lost his wicket in the process , Sharjil was run-out a good throw from long kept him away , Rehan Ulaq yesteryear top scorer was caught in the offside boundary line , Raza Khan Rehan & Talah (49) made some useful run’s in the end boosted the score to 161 , Talah posted the balls across the boundaries & earned quite useful 49 Run’s to team , Especially in the last over Rehan’s last two huge sixes was excellent and proved his capability to play big shots , which we were missing in the previous sessions , SIEMENS put 162 to win by losing 9 wickets from 16.0 over’s , still to bat Prabhu ,
DAR Buildings opened strongly the one of the openers was Wajid , They both put a total partnership of 84 , where it was broken when Akbar did Wajid run-out , the Run’s was pouring out of the bat , The bats’ man seems confident with all type of our bowlers Sharjil Rehan , Rehan Ulaq , Akbar & Sakthi , Finally the breakthrough CAME FROM Anees which was caught firmly by Rehan Ulaq , The necessary damage was done but SIEMENS did their best to hinder their progress , but they could delay it to 15.3 over’s only ,
Findings
Anees can do better only if he frees his arms from surrounding tension
Lessons Learned
Expectation of generosity from opponents in all cases is not possible , irrespective of the Age & all other factors ,
Worthless Memories
The Ball tape white colour was not changed irrespective of the continuous request from SIEMENS to change it to Red colour ,
Umpiring from DAR – Building’s their side was done with some grudges earned from the first inning’s , the Umpiring was changed in the Last few Over’s after a bad call from Umpire from not giving Out for a caught behind appeal , where as the bat’s man accepted the edge and dropped his wicket ,
